Enfield Monitoring Project

The London Borough of Enfield commission Smart Transport Hub to deliver data monitoring for their Journeys and Places Programme.

To align with the Council’s ambitious goals, the London Borough of Enfield Journey and Places Monitoring Team have procured Smart Transport Hub to fulfil their requirement for data collection, analysis and reporting to lead on their strategic and project monitoring ambitions. This is initially based on the 15 locations around the Borough for a duration of 8 years. As part of the commission, and in partnership with Vortex IoT, the list of requirements that will be delivered to Enfield are:

  • Classified counts for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorized vehicles on a rolling basis at defined locations across the borough, to build a continuous dataset, for comparative analysis over time.

  • Real-time air quality datasets surround potential school street environments and other standalone projects to measure and understand air quality throughout the life cycle of a project.

  • Continuous mode split data both provided with monthly and annual reports with additional ad hoc analysis and insights.

  • Temporary data collection to look at before and after project implementation, with data available in the form of their Smart Lenz Dashboard to ensure easy access to historical data through the lifecycle of the project and the future.

“We are looking forward to continuing working with the London Borough of Enfield. Having worked with them for the past few years assisting their data collection and traffic order team, I am happy the team will be continuing to support the data collection for the next 8 years.”
